My story

Meet Spooky! Spooky along with several other cats came into our care in July 2024 as part of an extreme hoarding case. While she is still unsure of meeting new people and being in a new environment, Spooky is already making progress in opening up since she has been on our adoption floor. Spooky would love to find a calm home to call her own! Spooky is all talk when she is uncomfortable so there has been a lot of quiet hisses with not much follow up by this little lady. When she is comfortable with you she does not mind gentle pets but does need a home who will be respectful of her space while she takes her time to learn how awesome hanging out with humans can be! We would recommend Spooky go to a lower energy home at this time. She still needs a lot of patience and time until she is completely comfortable in her interactions with people and loud noises do not help Spooky out in the slightest in this endeavor! Spooky came to us from a home with an extensive amount of cats so has prior experience living with them. As she has been so shy with us we have not had the opportunity to see how she does with cats not from her previous home we would be willing to try her with another feline friend in her new home! Stop by and meet Spooky if you think this pretty kitty may be the girl for you! Spooky is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
