Madeline

My story

Madeline is a sweet and affectionate long haired former mom (retirement looks good on her!). She was initially rescued with her kittens in May 2023, and while she showed friendly inclinations, she wasn't completely trusting yet, so she was returned to her home outside and her kittens were adopted. She was fine outdoors until vanishing in April 2024. While searching for another missing cat we found a stumbling Madeline, crying and emaciated, unable to walk properly. She had gotten locked in a garage and came out when her rescuers freed her. So hungry she has been eating dirt, as evidenced over the first few days we had her. She is a little shy about getting touched from her head, but approach from the side and she swoons for affection and pets. This cat can be adopted with a friend or as a single cat.  November 5, 2024, 3:41 pm
