Little One came to the Fulton County Animal Shelter after her owner was hospitalized and sadly passed away. Understandably heartbroken, she was quiet and withdrawn at first, but everything changed once she joined her foster family, where her loving, playful personality has had the chance to shine again. Little One is an absolute sweetheart, and her foster family can’t stop singing her praises! According to them, she loves everyone and everything. In her foster home, she’s gotten along beautifully with both cats and dogs of all sizes. She’d be thrilled to have a playful companion with a similar low to medium energy level, but she’d be just as happy in a calm, laid-back home where she can relax and be adored. Her versatility is just one of the many things that make her so special. Little One has experience living in both a house and an apartment, adjusting easily to either setting. She currently lives with three kitty siblings and one canine brother. She especially loves joining in when the cats play with pole toys and is respectful of feline boundaries, even when she gets the occasional “cat smack,” she simply walks away or looks at her humans as if to say, “What was that about?” She’s a well-mannered girl who knows how to sit, takes medications like a champ, and handles grooming with ease. She’s also a clean plate club president, licking her bowl spotless (and others, if allowed). She’s never shown any food aggression, just an enthusiastic love for all things edible. She’s lost about 10 pounds in foster care, and while she may not be thrilled about the diet, she’s feeling much healthier for it!Though she’s not looking for an adventurous hiking or jogging lifestyle, she still enjoys a short walk or lounging in the yard on a sunny day. She’s a little clumsy around her smaller brother and sometimes forgets her size, but she listens well to redirection and always aims to please. She has the cutest quirk: every time her foster parents come home (even if they were only gone for 10 minutes), she gets overwhelmed with excitement, delivering a toy right into their hands. She sometimes jumps around in silly circles while playing, and she especially loves a good game of fetch. While she’s mostly a mellow couch potato who naps throughout the day often curled up next to one of her foster siblings, she enjoys small spurts of energy, usually after potty time or during evening play.Little One is quiet, rarely ever barking, making her a wonderful co
