You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Barry (TX) is a male Belgium shepherd Malinois mix rescued in Texas. Our veterinary partner estimates that Barry is 4 months old at the time of intake early May 2023. Barry is a lovely, medium sized 11 month old puppy who loves to be with his people and cuddle. He is an excellent companion to his humans! Barry can and should spend long periods of time napping but will happily engage in fun activities at the right times. Barry loves starting his day with a game of fetch in the morning, go on walks throughout the day, and have playtime with his interactive toys. Barry loves to turn in early in his cozy quiet area to get some solid zzz's.. only to wake up refreshed and ready to start his day again. Barry is a very smart dog who can learn very quickly from a skilled trainer who can help him fit into his forever home. Barry spent time in a shelter, so he does startle easily in some situations without the right attention and training. He is doing great with his learning to socialize with other dogs and is already showing responses to the appropriate training that all young puppies need.
