My story

Meet Blade, a charming 6-year-old pit bull mix who is on the lookout for a new forever family. This handsome fella recently completed a two-week obedience training program with Sound Mind K9, where he mastered his leash manners, recall skills, and basic commands like sit, place, down, etc. His new owner will receive a free lesson with Sound Mind K9 in Weatherford, Texas to go over his commands. Blade gets along great with both big and small dogs, as well as children. However, he hasn't had the pleasure of meeting any feline friends just yet. This playful pup has a penchant for toys over treats, but he won't turn down a snack either. Blade is neutered, is up to date on his vaccines, and is heartworm-negative. And don't worry about that adorable chipmunk cheek - it's just a harmless fat pad. He developed it many years ago and did have one attempted removal, but it did regrow. Vet records can be provided on this, but it is just cosmetic. If you're in the market for a lovable, playful, and oh-so-cute companion, look no further than Blade. Blade would excel in a home with an active owner who is committed to furthering his training and keeping him engaged. Blade is participating in The Love Pit's iRehome program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster. All behavior and medical information is provided by their caretaker, and TLP encourages all adopters to verify the information with their caretaker prior to adoption.
