Sissy

My story

Welcome Sissy to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 3.5-year-old Papillion mix pup. She is Black and white with a with the fluffy coat much like the pure Papillion She weighs about 12 pounds. She is getting spayed next week. She lives in a home with a number of other dogs and does great. She lives with an older woman and she is very loyal to her. We are working with her on a harness and leash. She doesn’t know how to walk on leash at this time. She needs to find her forever home. The person she lived with since she was a puppy has had a change in her living conditions and the neighbor has mentioned harming the dogs. When she told us this, CCPAL stepped up for 3 of the dogs. Sissy is still in foster care at the moment. Her foster mom is working on leash and harness walking and taking her places for strangers to meet her. This group of dogs are all under-socialized but we will work hard to get them used to new things, leash walking, crate training and more. She is a wonderful breed and if you love this breed you will like any one of these pups. These dogs would make great companion dogs and love to be at home with their person. They would already be wonderful for someone who loves the breed and maybe is a person that wants a companion but doesn’t need them to be a dog you can take everywhere. These dogs would be ok around children. We like them to be 10 or older with the smaller dogs. Sissy is in CCPAL Rescue in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get this gorgeous dog to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the east Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200.
