This sweet little guy was found wandering on his own, hungry and without anyone to care for him. Thankfully, the woman who found him made sure he got his vaccinations and was neutered, giving him a solid foundation for a healthier future.   Unfortunately, while she wanted to keep him, her older cats didn’t take well to the new addition. Wanting what’s best for Jackson, she reached out to PRBJ to help find him the calm, loving forever home he deserves.   About Jackson Jackson is a shy and sensitive kitty who needs a bit of time and space before he starts to feel comfortable. He’s not the kind of cat who will immediately run up for cuddles — but with patience and consistency, he begins to open up in his own quiet way.   Even when he’s feeling more secure, Jackson tends to be a little aloof and independent. He prefers gentle pets on his own terms and does not enjoy being held. He’s a cat who values his personal space, and he’ll thrive in a home that respects that.   His Ideal Home   Adults only: Jackson would do best in a quiet home without young children. Solo cat: He doesn’t care much for other cats and would prefer to be the only pet. Patient guardian: He needs someone who will give him the time and space he needs to settle in and build trust.    Why Jackson? While Jackson may not be a lap cat, he has his own special charm. Watching him grow more confident day by day is a rewarding experience.
