My story

My foster writes: I may look like Batman with my perfect mask, but I am cautious and somewhat scared. I've improved over time but any sudden movements or the doorbell indicating a stranger on the other side of the door, will have me running for safety. Even when I'm scared, my foster has never once heard me hiss, and I do not bite or scratch. Instead, I'll either hide or freeze in the hope that I'll become invisible.The secret to stealing my heart is to just love me a lot and give me space and encouragement. If you do, I'll let my guard down enough to invite you to pet me; I'll follow you around; I may even sleep next to you if you're ok with that; and I'll zoom from one end of the home to the next when I'm in my extra happy place. Another happy place for me is a window with a view. I'll start the day by checking out what's happening in the world outside, have my breakfast, take a nap, or two, and later on you'll most likely find me back at the windowsill taking another nap or checking to see if anything new has happened since I last sat there 🙂I may never become that furbaby who curls up in your lap to nap but the best thing about me is that I am as gentle as I am cute!
