My story

Curious, Playful, Friendly Meet Max! Max came to us from a work warehouse, where he was found in poor condition. Max bravely fought his way through recovery and is now a lively, affectionate fellow with lots of life left to live! When he’s not enjoying an afternoon nap, Max can be found scrambling up his cat tower and zooming across the room! After he tires himself out, Max will settle down in front of the window to do some people watching. Though he’s rather independent, Max loves to curl up with his humans for a relaxing nap. When he’s awake, he’ll ask you to wave some wand toys around so he can practice his hunting skills! When he wants some alone time, Max will wander off on his own. However, he’ll be back soon to get some scritches! Max has such a handsome face with the cutest white stripe going down his nose! He doesn't have any teeth, so he mostly dines on wet food. But, he can still eat some dry food. Max can get along with other cats, but he needs some time to warm up to them. Max also loves being around people, but he appreciates his alone time. His ideal family would be happy to spoil him with love and play time, while respecting his need for independence. If that sounds like you, contact us soon! Max has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption.
