My story

Dakota is living in a foster home. Fill out our quick adoption survey, and then we can set up a phone call or meet and greet with the foster! Dakota is: Spayed: Yes! Up to date on vaccines: Yes! Microchipped: Yes! Our microchips will automatically register when an adoption is finalized More about Dakota: Housebroken: Yes! Crate trained: Yes! She has done well in her crate when home alone for a full workday. Leash walking: She has shown reactivity when she sees other dogs on walks, and will then bark and pull. She will need to keep working on this! Dog social: She lives with a resident dog in her foster home and has been doing very well with him. She does best with slow intros and time to warm up to other dogs. Cat social: Unknown Kid friendly: She has done well in brief interactions with kids as young as 3 Dakota likes: - Getting a new toy or treat - Cuddling - Playing with a dog pal Dakota is a wonderful 5-year young-at-heart girl! She is very sweet towards humans and loves to play with the resident beagle in her foster home (they are inseparable). She has the perfect blend of energy when playing, but ready to snuggle when needed. Dakota is very well mannered in the home and responds well to cues. She has been working on her leash reactivity, and would appreciate an adopter who can help her keep up with this work! Dakota's adoption fee is $300, and she is eager to share her heart and home with her perfect match!
