My story

At 13 years young, Mimi is looking for a quiet, cozy place to call home where she can spend her golden years feeling safe, loved, and unbothered by the hustle and bustle of a busy household. Mimi is a charming Pit Bull Terrier who weighs about 64 pounds and is full of heart. She’s got a delightful personality, a playful spirit, and a loyal soul. Mimi knows how to sit, shake, and lay down—and she’s always happy to show off her skills for a treat or two. She loves her toys and bones, and enjoys sniffing around the yard or taking a gentle stroll. Don’t let her age fool you—Mimi still has pep in her step and a spark in her eye. Mimi thrives in a calm, low-traffic environment. She prefers to be your one and only, so a home without other pets is best. Because she treasures her space and routine, she would do best in an adult-only home with minimal visitors. Mimi is perfectly content to be your quiet, loyal shadow and your best couch buddy. One of her admirers has already covered her adoption and McLean County registration fees, so all she needs now is someone to offer her a soft place to land and lots of love.
