Lucy

My story

Little old Lucy is a pint sized warrior who came into the rescue in really rough shape. She was covered in fleas with missing fur both from fleas and her previous owners dipping her in chemicals weekly to attempt to rid her of the fleas. She had a badly infected and bulging eye that with eye drops has since shrunk down and is no longer an issue, she is blind in that eye and has glaucoma in the other requiring daily eye drops but this does not slow her down. Lucy had also come to us with some really bad dental that has been addressed and she now has 2 or 3 good teeth left. This also does not slow her down any and she is still able to eat hard food along with her wet food. Lucy is the sweetest old gal at roughly 10+ yrs old. She loves to be with her person and getting all the attention she can get. Lucy is crate trained and house trained however due to her age and size she does need frequent potty breaks as she just cant hold it as long as other dogs can. She is great with other dogs and cats and hasn't met a person she didn't like.
