My story

Meet Bentley! Bentley is a 4-year-old mixed-breed male who was surrendered by his previous owner due to an unexpected change in their living situation. This handsome boy is now looking for a stable, loving home where he can thrive and build lasting bonds. Bentley has a moderate to high energy level and would do best in a home that can provide him with regular activity and mental stimulation. A fenced yard is strongly recommended, as he enjoys time outdoors and benefits from space to play and decompress. Though initially shy with new people and environments, Bentley blossoms once he feels comfortable. He’s incredibly sweet with those he trusts and loves to be near his people, whether it’s joining in on daily activities or simply relaxing nearby. While he can be cautious at first, his loyalty and affectionate nature shine through once a connection is built. Bentley does not require a home with previous dog experience and would be a great fit for first-time adopters who are patient and understanding of a dog who may need time to adjust. He is good with other dogs and has done well with canine companions after slow, structured introductions. He may even benefit from the presence of a calm, confident dog who can help him feel more at ease. Due to his sensitivity to noise and unpredictable environments, Bentley would do best in an adult-only home where things are generally calm and consistent. He thrives in a peaceful setting with a routine he can count on.
