My story

10-year-old Dougie Boy is a laid-back, gentle, and affectionate companion who prefers to stay close to his people. This distinguished senior may have a bit of hearing loss, but he still has plenty of zest for life and knows how to rock a t-shirt! His favorite activities include snuggling, riding in the car, playing with toys, going for leisurely walks, watching his humans prepare a delicious selection of wet food for him, and scarfing down his food quickly. Dougie Boy is housetrained and doggie door trained, but doesn’t love being crated and will tell you so. His ideal forever family will have a calm, relaxed home and provide him with as much companionship as possible, as he’s not a fan of solo time and likes to have body contact with his people.
