Meet Markus! The Goodest of Good Boys!At just 1 year old, Markus already has the heart of a seasoned best friend. This Retriever/Lab mix found his way to HSSM on August 19th, 2025, through no fault of his own. Life may have shifted his path, but Markus hasn’t let it dim his gentle and loving spirit. Markus is the definition of an all-around good boy. He’s kind and patient with children, playful and happy with canine companions, and always up for a good romp in the yard or a game of roughhouse with a four-legged friend. While he prefers a dog-only household (no cats for this guy), he’ll fill his home with so much love, laughter, and loyalty that you won’t feel like anything is missing. House trained, well mannered on leash, and always ready for an adventure, Markus makes every stroll or day out a joy. He’s neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and vetted from nose to tail, ready to walk right into your life and heart.
