My story

Meet Sassy, a 14-year-old queen who's truly earned her name and her fan club. A favorite among staff and volunteers, Sassy has blossomed into a lap-loving sweetheart during her time with us. Once shy and unsure, she now greets visitors at the door and will happily curl up in your lap for some quality pet time (as long as you listen when she says she’s had enough — she’s a senior lady who knows what she likes). Sassy is treat-motivated, enjoys a calm, predictable routine, and would thrive as the only feline in the home. She does have a few manageable medical needs, and we’ll be happy to talk you through them. If you’re the kind of person who respects boundaries and loves a little cat-titude with your cuddles, Sassy just might be your perfect match.
