Boxer/Hound, Female, 2 years old, 45 lbs Personality: adventurous, playful, calm, trustworthy, goofy/funny, snuggler, loyal, eager-to-please, and adaptable. Meet Eden, a loving and affectionate girl who will happily accept all the cuddles and pets you have to offer! Eden enjoys going for walks and playing with her toys, but will happily read the room and curl up for quiet time when her human says so. Easy going and calm, Eden is fazed by very little and is incredibly clever! She already knows the words “sit,” “dinner,” and “walk,” and responds to her name when called. She is also house trained and crate trained, although her foster trusts her to be left home alone uncrated. Eden can be choosy about her dog friends and would do best as the only dog in the home. If you love walks in gardens, snuggles, and a good game of fetch on a lazy sunny afternoon, apply today to meet Eden! Bob Branick made it possible to save Eden. ___________________________________________________________________ If you are interested in meeting a dog or cat, we require an adoption application. If the animal has "HAS APPLICATION" listed, they are still available to receive additional applications but also may be in the process of being adopted soon. Apply for a DOG: http://www.citydogsrescuedc.org/adoptable-dogs.html Interested in saving more lives? Foster a dog today! Learn more, see our list of dogs needing foster, and apply, https://www.citydogsrescuedc.org/foster-a-city-dog.html City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model). Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us. Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, Lepto and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis. Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Eden, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
