Rocky

My story

Rocky is a sweet, affectionate, and devoted dog who wants nothing more than to be in the same room as his human. Where ever you go, he will follow. That's how much he attaches to you. He has a very sweet way of sitting, gazing into your eyes, and giving you his paw to let you know he'd like some attention and affection. You'll melt when he looks into your eyes with devotion.    He get's very wiggly and excited to see you when you come home from work. You will feel so loved by him.    Rocky loves sun bathing in the backyard and he gets oh so adorably excited when he thinks it's time for a car ride. The destination doesn't matter. It's the ride itself he longs for. He's always up for a ride.   Like most bulldogs, he's not much of a walker. He prefers to take long naps throughout the day.  If he doesn't want to continue walking, he will become stubborn.   He's very food motivated, so training him is relatively easy. He still needs to work on "wait."   Rocky loves the attention of humans. He doesn't care too much for the attention or company of other dogs.  Rocky doesn't like it when i give my other dog attention and will attack. He will do best as the only dog in the home. He's not been in the company of cats, so that's TBD.    He is very cooperative to bathe. He gets high marks from the groomers. But if you'd like to bathe him yourself, he'll be more than happy to comply.   He's accustomed to sleeping in a crate at night, and is happy to have his own little space. But he does perfectly well sleeping on the floor without a crate.   Medical: He gets a Cytopoint injection every 4-6 weeks to curb itching, irritated skin.  I've tried all sorts of different dog foods, even hydrolyzed protein to eliminate the skin issues, but to no avail.  His ears need frequent cleaning.  October 26, 2024, 4:37 pm
