My story

Dubs is a big, young boy looking for his forever home! He loves belly rubs, scratches around the shoulders and back, playing fetch, and running around the dog parks. He's playful and goofy but can be a security guard when he senses danger. He has some anxiety, but the staff at the doggy-day-care he used to go to say that he just loves to play and not be cooped up. We want him to go to a home that has space for him, with someone who loves giving him unlimited love and belly rubs. Please call 707-459-4900 to schedule an appointment to meet DUBS. Notes from a volunteer who took Dubs out recently This was the first time I took Dubs out with us on a hike, but we felt so comfortable with him and it seemed that he felt the same. My car is on the smaller side and I shared the backseat with him so it was a tight squeeze. Once he made himself comfortable, he rode well in the car. He got along well with my two small dogs and was respectful of their space when he walked alongside of them. He has a big puppy playful demeanor and was so happy to chase after a stick thrown in the water at the beach. He also liked to play "stomp on the waves" as they rolled in. He pulled a bit strongly on the leash at times, but I think it may have been out of excitement from visiting a new place that he may not have been to before. He loves treats so that could help with any additional training/teaching tricks. For now, he knows how to sit for treats. It was a fun and happy day for all of us and we plan to take him out again soon.
