Meet Stitch: The Chihuahua with a Heart Waiting to Trust Again Introducing Stitch, a 5-year-old Chihuahua weighing approximately 13 pounds. Stitch was recently surrendered to Chloe’s Pet Rescue after his owners were displaced. Adopted from the SPCA several years ago, Stitch likely hasn’t seen a vet since—but we’re happy to report he is heartworm negative and ready to find a home where he can finally feel safe and loved. Chihuahuas have a reputation for being a bit particular, and Stitch is no exception. He is not a dog for everyone and absolutely cannot go to a home with children. Stitch needs someone with patience and a gentle touch to help him feel comfortable and learn to trust again. We don’t know what he’s been through in the past, but we do know that with the right person, he can learn what it truly means to be loved.
