https://youtu.be/zHfgTXDIPk4 https://youtu.be/3kkM6lisN1k https://youtu.be/-UMG7QTlVBU Kim is in URGENT need of a foster or forever home! Only 1 yrs old, clearly already used for breeding and then dumped at a shelter, reason given, her family could no longer afford her. Kim's a shelter volunteer favorite (videos above and volunteer note below to show). Sadly she's running out of time, she's already on the at-risk-list, and as each day passes with no interest, the risk of her being put down becomes more and more real. Please help us prevent that! Kim is only 1yrs old, a perfect med size at 46lbs, will come fully vetted for her age, HWN, microchipped, is already spayed and knows some basic commands. What she needs more then anything is for a family to commit to her, help her decompress after months (over 3 now) of being in overpopulated shelter, high stress environment, then help her be the puppy she has never had the chance to be and flourish into the beautiful adult she can be! Please if interested in learning more, reach out today! A volunteer writes: I am not trying to be hyperbolic here, but Kim is the most precious baby angel in the world. These are just facts, not opinions. And I come with reciepts. First, her glorious belly. She snuggles right onto my lap, then fully extends herself, belly up. You can say a lot of things about Kim, but you can't say she isn't a clear communicator. Her assessment notes say "wiggly pull towards people" and that is extremely accurate. Kim loves toys, but I am not sure she loves them more than her human friends. She races them back to us, leaping her little body right onto my lap (she really stuck the landing each time, very impressive athletics with this one!), and plays right on top of or next to me. Kim came to because her guardian could no longer financially care for her, a common and heartbreaking problem we are facing as a community. They reported her to be good with both strangers and kids. At the shelter she has met 2 dogs and was soft and wiggly in her greetings between the gates. Kim is located nearby CT at a shelter and we can assist with transportation to CT, other nearby states.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Kim, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
