DENNY

My story

Foster notes: "Meet Dennis-also known as Denny! This quirky, attention-loving guy has his own way of meeting new dogs: he might start with a growl and lunge, especially with big dogs, but if they're low-energy seniors, he quickly settles in. Denny's a total sweetheart who thrives with low-key canine friends, and he's not shy about telling puppies or high-energy pals to "take it easy. He loves his walks, and when it's time to unwind, he's a serious snuggle pro-cuddling up in bed and sneaking under the covers to be as close as possible." Denny is a dapper 8 year old gentleman with plenty of spring in his step. This boy is a volunteer favorite: he's a happy boy with a great smile, loves his walks, and eager to get as many pets and snuggles in as possible. Denny walks well on leash, is crate-trained, dog friendly, and would be great either for a family with kids, ages 10+, or with adults. Denny is one of 18 dogs from a rescue in Mexico that fell on hard times, came to California with 90 dogs and their plans for a new location feel through. These dogs (and more!) were in desperate need of a place to go. So... Milo to the rescue! These dogs were well cared for, and they have never been alone. They always have had other dogs with them, and are very dog friendly. They are also very people friendly and love attention and seek affection! We know they would be happiest in a home with a friend or at least another dog in the home and lots of people time. As long as they get plenty of people time and aren't home alone for long stretches of time - they will be very happy.
