ROGER

My story

The shelter can be a stressful, scary place for many dogs when they first arrive, which is understandable. Some dogs adjust to the routine quickly, but others who are more sensitive—like Roger—take a little more time. Since being here this sweet boy has learned to walk pretty well on a leash, has been taught how to “sit”, appears to have been housebroken, and takes treats gently. In fact, food is one of his favorite things ever, so we think he would be fun and easy to train. Roger also enjoys Kong toys and chasing tennis balls—he just desperately needs to get out of the shelter so he can be the calm, affectionate companion we know he is.
