My story

Meet Marley, a 2 year old cattle dog mix who's ready to be your new adventure buddy. Marley is already crate trained and house trained, and he's got some basic commands down, including "sit," "lay down," and "shake." He's working hard on mastering "stay," and with a little more practice, he'll have that nailed too. This smart pup loves playing with other dogs and has lived with kids as young as 4, though his enthusiasm might accidentally knock them over. Marley's high energy level means he thrives in an active home where he can get plenty of exercise, both mental and physical. Whether it's long walks, playtime in the yard, or learning new tricks, Marley is always up for a challenge. He's also lived with cats, so if you've got a feline friend, Marley might just fit right in. This playful pup will benefit from positive reinforcement training classes to keep his sharp mind engaged. If you're looking for a dog who can keep up with your active lifestyle, Marley could be the perfect match. Adopting through this process will take several days and highly desirable pets are likely to no longer be available. PLEASE NOTE: Adoption inquiries are not holds or reservations. Pets are adopted by the first person we talk with who is a good match for the pet's needs. Multiple inquiries are accepted for each pet. All adult dog adoption fees include; -spay/neuter -rabies and kennel cough vaccinations -current parvo/distemper vaccines (may need additional boosters with your veterinarian) -microchip implanted & registered to adopter -treatment of fleas & ticks -veterinary exam and health certificate at Dakin -free vet exam within 30 days of adoption with participating veterinarians Most pets have also received other medical care while with us. Your veterinarian may recommend additional health care for your pet.
