My story

Once a feral pup with a world of fear behind her, Starlight has blossomed into a shy but sweet young dog who’s learning to trust and love. In her foster home, she goes by “Puppy” — a name that matches her soft heart and playful spirit. Puppy may take some time to warm up to new people, but if you’re patient, kind, and understanding, you’ll be rewarded with one of the most meaningful bonds you’ll ever experience. When she trusts you, she’ll come in close for cuddles (on her terms, of course!) and be your loyal sidekick for life. She’s incredibly smart, with excellent dog skills, and would thrive with a confident canine companion to show her the ropes. She’s already proven to be a great adventure buddy, whether that’s a hike in the woods or a quiet stroll through the neighborhood. Puppy has come so far, and she’s still blooming. She’s not the kind of dog who will rush into your arms — but she is the kind who will give you her whole heart once you earn it. She’s absolutely worth every bit of time and effort you invest in her.
