My story

Meet Stubbs! This handsome tabby is full of charm, personality, and swirly fur magic. Stubbs is an adult cat with kitten energy—he loves to play, chase toys mid-air, and narrate his day (especially around dinner time ). Stubbs is all about people but no so much other kitties.  He’s the ultimate sidekick—as long as he’s the only cat in your kingdom. He’s cool with respectful dogs but prefers to rule the feline scene solo. Full disclosure: Stubbs has a quirky side. He occasionally mistakes clothes or towels left on the floor as alternative litter box options. But we’ve figured out his dream lifestyle—a mix of indoor pampering and supervised outdoor adventure, given his past as an outdoor loving guy. He’d thrive as a bougie barn cat or shop cat with people to love, a cozy inside space, and safe outside access for exploring, potty breaks, and the occasional mouse chase, he is a great working guy. Finders Keepers Cat Rescue is a foster home-based rescue in Clarksville, TN, and our cats are in private foster homes in the Clarksville area. An adoption application is required to meet our kitties. Once your application is reviewed and upon approval, we will then provide the information to schedule a meet and greet with their foster. We are a 100% volunteer run organization and have varying hours, as our volunteers work during the day, our goal is to process adoption applications within 24-72 hours, please be patient with us!
