My story

Meet Breyer (Daisy), a bright and energetic girl who’s made incredible progress since arriving at the shelter in August 2024. She’s been treated for heartworms and is now ready to find a home that understands her unique personality. Breyer (Daisy) is full of life, has a goofy side, and is learning her way in the world—she responds well to structure and is improving with leash training. She’s house-trained, uses a doggie door, and does great when left loose in the house. While she may not be a cuddler, she’s starting to bond, even quietly following her person from room to room.Breyer (Daisy) thrives on routine and does best in a calm, structured environment without other pets. She has shown reactivity toward other dogs, including difficulty accepting corrections and becoming overstimulated during play. Because of this, she’ll need an experienced home committed to continued training and safety management. Breyer (Daisy) isn’t for the average adopter, but in the right hands, she’ll reward you with loyalty, personality, and a one-of-a-kind bond.
