My story

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to SEA💟 Meet Giri🧡(It means oats in Korean) 💙 Giri's Updates: @giri_adogs 1⃣ Health Condition * Neutered * Microchipped and heartworm negative. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Giri and his sibling #AdogsHyeonmi were staying at the Gimje Shelter together, relying on each other. Because he was still young and infectious diseases was spreading in the shelter, Adogs rescued him and Hyeonmi before they grew into adult dogs. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Is wary and may nip if strangers try to touch him suddenly. Recently, he has started calming down very quickly after initially being surprised. Is still very cautious of being touched suddenly but has stopped nipping. Likes his foster parent and has recently become less surprised when being touched near his face and body. Petting was possible when having him lick liquid tube treats out of a hand. * With Dogs: Gets along well with his sibling, Hyeonmi, and did well with other dogs at our center! Is a cute scaredy-cat, so he immediately lies down in surrender when other dogs play aggressively. * With Cats: Not confirmed as he hasn’t met them yet. * Separation Anxiety: Not at all! Stays alone very well. Plays with his doggy friends when together. * Potty Training: Uses potty pads indoors accurately without marking! * Hygiene: Stays calm if he is held by those whom he opens his heart to and has his nails trimmed. * Walks: Isn’t used to walks yet and shows a bit of discomfort when leashed and when there is tension on the leash. Sits after taking a few steps, so he needs practice getting comfortable. * Car Sickness: Rides well without car sickness for short trips! 4️⃣ Special Notes * Occasionally tries to bite defensively when forced to be held or suddenly touched, so training is required for him to be accustomed. * Tends to eat his poop and tears up the blanket, so he needs to be monitored. * Whines from time to time, being afraid of men and mirrors. * Goes right in when the kennel door is opened. * Has a careful, and timid personality.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Giri, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
