On 4/20/25 Coco Windy attended playgroup. She was friendly and social with a rough and rowdy playstyle. Very high energy girl! 4/15 Volunteer Update on Windy: Windy had a great time out today! She really enjoys toys and showed off her playful side. When she first gets going, she can pull on leash out of excitement, but once she settles, she walks nicely. She was a little aloof at times but still showed interest in people. Windy’s a silly, vocal girl who can be jumpy when she’s excited. She’s got good energy—active and fun without being too over the top! On 3/20/25 Coco attended playgroup. She had a gentle/dainty playstyle and often kept to herself. She soon opened up to being more friendly and high energy Coco (formerly Windy) was returned to MAS after being adopted in November 2024. Check out what her formerfoster says about her: "Windy is a petite size pit mix weighing around 40 lbs. She is full of energy and loves to play and run outside in the yard. She does well with retrieving a ball and is happy to spend hours enjoying play time. She does great on walks around the block on a lease and is happy to greet all dogs and humans along the way if they are receptive. Since being in a home environment she has really come out of her shell. She does well with other dogs and kids also. She can be a little jumpy due to her excitement, but in the weeks we have had her, she has improved with instruction and positive reinforcement. She might shine the best with middle age or older kids. Windy wants to be a part of a loving family and she deserves the very best. In her short life it seems she has been thru a lot. She has a play full nature and just so darn cute with one big brown spot on her white fur and small ones on her face. Windy got her first bath 10/24/24. She did great. She looks even prettier than before and just needs a date! Please consider Windy if you are looking for a forever dog." **Meet Windy: Your Future Furry Friend!** Windy is a sweet, independent pup looking for her forever home. This charming girl is playful and loves her toys, often enjoying them from a cozy spot of her own. While she can be a bit skittish and aloof at times, her curiosity shines through-she's politely interested in the world around her. Windy isn't the best on a leash just yet, but with patience and gentle guidance, she'll learn to enjoy her walks. A bit of a private potty user, she prefers to wait until she's outside her kennel to do her business, showing her thoughtful nature. If you're looking for a unique companion who values her space and enjoys quiet playtime, Windy might just be the perfect fit for you! Come meet her and see if you can win her heart. 9/12: Pet is very sweet and seems playful with other dogs. During cleaning I will let her out to do her kennel. She always goes and sniffs the other pets through the doors and will start play bowing towards them with a loose body posture. You do have to beg her to go back into her kennel but if you walk in with her she will go right in. On 9/14/24 Windy and Adolin were paired for cohousing. Adolin immediately showed interest in Windy and attempted to engage in play. Windy showed some interest in play and tolerated Adolin well. Adolin would sometimes be mouthy, but Windy seemed unbothered On 9/24/24 Windy met another dog, Billy. She was easy to get out of the kennel and walked well on leash. She seems house trained as she immediately did her business outside. She was friendly and appropriate in her greeting of Billy. Billy was unsure, but Windy used her gentle/dainty personality to open him up. She did her little play bows and prances and eventually Billy opened up and showed interest in play. Absolute doll On 9/25/24 Windy attended playgroup. She was friendly and social and tolerant throughout her interactions. She was an easy going, fun time girl with a happy-go-lucky attitude. On 11/20/24 Windy met 2 other dogs. She seems house trained as she immediately did her business outside. She was friendly and social with a playful attitude. She was tolerant throughout her encounters and acted as good "helper" dog..showing/baiting dogs into play and stopping play if it escalated too much. Videos uploaded.
