My story

Hi! My name is Copper and I'm at the Santa Barbara Campus. I'm a 1 year old male pit bull mix who is eager for a new home! I was here when I was a puppy and adopted into a lovely home that unfortunately did not work out at no fault of my own. They worked on basic manner training with me and I did really well in the home. I am food motivated and love practicing sit, down and shake! I am a bit high energy and would benefit from an active household that has a yard, although it is not required for me as long as my energy needs are met physically and mentally. I do well with other dogs and do love to rough play! I do well co-existing with other dogs after I have burnt off my energy. I love every person I meet and have lots of confidence! Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come first served basis. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.
