My story

Dog sociability: Possibly after proper introduction. The fosters have a dog in the house, and they are beginning to work on slow introductions. She would likely do okay with a dog that respects her space. Cat sociability: Possible after proper introduction. Kid sociability: She has not had any interactions with kids. We would not recommend it, but she could be in a house with a 12+ year old. Likes: Chin scratches, head rubs, naps, cuddling, soft beds/caves, solo time, cat reality tv (aka cat YouTube). Dislikes: Touching her butt, loud noises, quick and sudden movements Bio: Meet Tappy: Your New Best Friend with a Dash of Sass! Tappy is an eight-year-old sweetheart who's been through the ups and downs of life, but she's ready to settle into a forever home where she can relax, nap, and share her unique brand of love. With her slightly grumpy but irresistibly cute demeanor, Tappy knows exactly what she wants-and isn't afraid to tell you! She may have some firm boundaries, but once you're in her circle, you'll find she's all about chin and head scratches, cozy cuddles, and being your quiet companion as you go about your day. Tappy's back legs aren't as strong as they used to be, so she has a unique, unsteady gait that only adds to her charm. But don't worry-this means your kitchen counters and bookshelves are safe from any curious paws, as she prefers to stay grounded. She also has some medical needs and is currently on renal food to keep her healthy and happy. Despite these challenges, Tappy is full of life and love, ready to share her world with someone who will appreciate her just as she is. She's a connoisseur of steak and salmon (as small treats), enjoys sipping from her water fountain, and adores her soft bed where she can lounge in peace or with you nearby. While she's not a fan of loud noises or sudden movements, Tappy will happily greet your guests-just as long as she has a cozy retreat to call her own when she needs some "me time. Tappy would thrive in a calm, quieter home, or with a family that understands her need for a little space now and then. She's been through a lot, but Tappy is more than ready to shower her new family with love-on her terms, of course! If you're looking for a loving companion with a side of sass, Tappy might just be your perfect match. The adoption fee is $100. All cats are up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered, and microchipped.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Tappy, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
