My story

Ace is a gentle, kind-hearted dog who is patiently waiting for someone to offer him a loving home. He can be a bit nervous in the busy shelter environment, but his true, calm nature still shines through. Ace is shy at first and needs a minute to warm up to new people, but with a little patience he’s quite the companion. Treats are the quickest way to his heart. He loves them and is very treat focused! Even when he’s having a shy spell he’ll always work through it as quickly as possible to come take the treat from your hand. Treats are the best kind of bridge to friendship with him! Just give him one and he’ll start to trust you. Ace walks well on a leash without pulling. He has a lower energy level and doesn’t require much in the way of exercise. He tends to be self sufficient when it comes to entertainment and he can keep himself busy, but he also doesn’t mind your company.
