My story

Meet Bowser – Big, Bold & Built for Cuddles! ?????? Looking for a whole lot of dog with a whole lot of love? Say hello to Bowser, a striking, 70+ pound Boxer mix who’s equal parts cuddle bug and class clown. With his solid white coat and larger-than-life personality, Bowser is impossible to miss—and even harder to resist. This lovable goofball is all about attention. He’ll happily climb into your lap (yes, all of him), dish out giant hugs, and cover you in kisses. He knows how to sit and lay down.?? Playtime Personality:Bowser is like a bull in a china shop—big, bouncy, and full of energy. He plays rough and forward, with a pro-wrestler style that can be too much for most other dogs. While he does take corrections from confident dogs, he can be pushy and a little too focused on smaller pups. Because of this, Bowser would thrive as the only dog in the home. He’ll provide all the entertainment and love you need.???????? Best Fit Home:Due to his mouthy excitement and size, Bowser is looking for an adult-only home with someone who understands big dog behavior. He needs an adopter who’s ready to give him the structure, activity, and love he craves. Kids aren`t the right fit, but adults with experience and a soft spot for goofy lovebugs? Perfect match.?? Behavior & Training Notes:Bowser is affectionate and friendly outside of his kennel, and he accepts handling well. He’s shown willingness to engage in short training sessions, especially when he’s in the right mood. However, he can have off days, where he shows little interest in food puzzles, toys, or even short walks. On 5/13 and 5/14, he declined to engage much during training or enrichment, showing low motivation outdoors and in the conference room. These quieter days may just be part of his personality, or reflect stress from the shelter environment. He`ll benefit greatly from a consistent routine and one-on-one connection with a dedicated adopter. If you’re ready for a hilarious, loyal, and love-filled addition to your life, Bowser’s your boy. He’s got the heart of a puppy and the body of a linebacker, and he’s ready to bulldoze his way into your heart.??Available at: Saint Charles County Pet Adoption Center#AdoptBowser #BigDogLove #BoxerMix #GoofyBoy #ChonkyLove #OneAndOnly #RescueDog #AdoptDontShop
