My story

Meet Poncho, a remarkable 4.5-year-old Husky/Shepherd mix who’s searching for his forever home. Rescued from a high-kill shelter after his previous owner had to move and couldn’t take him along, Poncho is a unique and lovable companion with a heart of gold. Poncho is a good-natured and sweet dog who does well with middle to large dogs and is incredibly intelligent. He prefers to spend most of his time outside and doesn’t seek out cuddles or furniture, but he shows his affection in his own special ways. His high energy levels and need for mental stimulation mean he thrives with proper exercise and engaging activities. Ideal for someone who works from home, Poncho doesn’t like to be alone and may struggle with separation, especially at first. He can be a bit vocal, giving you an earful as huskies are known to do, but his charming personality and loving nature make him an exceptional companion. Poncho is a special dog who will bring joy and loyalty to the right home.
