💖 Meet Pookie – Your Loyal, Laugh-Out-Loud Pocket Pittie 💖 I’m looking for my best bud for life—is that you? My name is Pookie, and I’m a quirky, lovable lady with puppy eyes that scream “Who, me? I’m totally innocent!” 🥺 Ever heard of a pocket pittie? I’m a fun-sized version of a pitty with a big personality packed into a petite body! I’m smart, hilarious, and full of love for the right person. My past is a bit of a mystery, but my caregivers think I’ve been in some unhappy homes. Because of that, I can be slow to warm up to new people—but once I know you’re safe, I’ll be your most loyal, affectionate shadow. 🐾 I just need someone patient who understands that I’ll need a little time to adjust, and who’s willing to let me build trust at my own pace. Here’s a little more about me: 🧠 Smart, food-driven, and easy to train 🏡 Crate trained and walks beautifully on leash 🚗 Loves car rides and new adventures 🛑 Loyal to her person 😂 Goofy, playful, and guaranteed to make you laugh daily 🧍 Best with adults or older children (no toddlers) 🐕 Would do best as your one and only pet 💕 Selective with dogs—so let’s chat if you’ve got one at home! Adopting from High Country Humane means your new pet is spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. We’ll even register the chip for FREE and include a complimentary health exam with every adoption. Please bring a leash and collar, or pick up a set here for just $5 each. We’re open 11 AM–5 PM, 7 days a week, and can’t wait to help you find your new best friend!
