My story

Avogato is an energetic cat who is working towards the next WWE title with his impressive wrestling moves. He is an eager and curious cat who will sit next to you or occasionally cuddle, but predominantly likes to play. As in he enjoys brief cuddle breaks with as much play time as possible. He is social with people, loving to be near when there’s a dinner party, as well as with other cats. He is quick to meet new people and is quite the socialized. One of his favorite toys are other cats. He is the type of kitty who needs a playmate. He would do well in a household with another young male cat, or even two, to have ample wrestling matches. We plan to place Avo in a forever home with his sister Pico who he has been with their entire lives. We love our cats and we pledge support for the rest of their lives, which is why our location limits are in place. We appreciate your understanding. At Chicago Cat Rescue, we are dedicated to both the physical and emotional well-being of the cats and kittens in our care. For this reason, unless expressly stated, we do not place cats or kittens in homes where they will be the only cat. Generally, cats love the company of other cats, and can become quite lonely when living alone. Kittens will only be placed in pairs, or to join another kitten or young cat in your home. Chicago Cat Rescue is an entirely foster-based organization. Our ability to help more cats in need is dependent on our availability of foster homes.
