My story

Say hello to Henry!!!Henry is a playful and confident boy who loves attention. He loves to be pet, but he can get overstimulated, so he appreciates it when humans allow him to lead the interaction. He`ll let you know when he needs attention by rubbing up against you, or head-butting you!ABOUT HENRY- At shelter- Henry loves to spend time around people and sit on their laps, and can have a little bit of an attitude if his high-affection needs are not met.- While Henry is super curious about his environment, loving to explore every nook and cranny, he can also get quite stressed around new people (especially at the vet). He is looking for a home with adopters who understand that he may become agitated or triggered after stressful experiences. - Henry is being prescribed medication to help manage his stress.- Henry is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on received core vaccinations.HENRY`S IDEAL HOME- Henry has a ton of energy, and needs adopters that can keep him stimulated through play and affection.- Henry must be the only cat in the house.- He has not yet been exposed to other animals, but we believe he would do best as the only pet in his home.- Henry is looking for a home with experienced adopters who are able to read cat body language, and without children.- EHS will offer a short foster-to-adopt period before finalizing the adoption to assist Henry with successfully transitioning into a forever home. During this time, our skilled volunteers will offer support to the potential adopters as they get to know Henry and help ensure everyone settles in comfortably together.Has Henry piqued your interest?
