My story

Hi there, I’m Hydie—sweet as a sugar cookie, goofy as they come, and a proud member of the Hidden Gems Club. If you’re looking for a dog with enough energy to light up your life (and maybe a small town), I’m your girl! I’ve got a nose for adventure and a heart full of zoomies, always ready to chase a ball, roll in the grass, or sniff out whatever smells interesting. I’m a little silly, a lot curious, and completely obsessed with snacks—treats are the express lane to winning me over. But I’ve got a soft side, too. I’m a cuddle fan, a loyal listener, and a tail-wagging ray of sunshine just waiting to brighten your day. The staff and volunteers can’t figure out why I’m still here—so maybe I’ve just been waiting for you? Come find me, and let’s start this joy-filled journey together.
