Shuri

My story

Shuri is a cat who likes to enjoy life on her own terms! Found with her 3 kittens, she was more than happy to be taken in and even encouraged others to hold her kittens. She is very affectionate and loves to give little love nibbles. She lets you know when she's ready for pets with gentle head butts.  But she has a little of that classic tortie spice, and if she's not in the mood for pets, she will give you a little smack to let you know.  For this reason, she needs a calm home without young children.   Shuri enjoys patrolling the house and checking on everyone to see what they are doing. During her routine patrols she definitely will seek you out to be affectionate and even do some nice head bunting. Between napping and patrolling she definitely let you know it's time to eat, preferring both wet and dry food but not above trying to steal a peanut butter sandwich if you aren't paying attention! Treat oriented, Shuri will expect one if you plan to put her in a crate but won't begrudge taking one just because! She is still deciding how she feels about other cats.  She is a true tortie who likes to be the queen of her own space, and she can get growly and slappy with other cats who get too close to her.  Shuri is VERY playful and loves toys that she can bat at, such as interactive wand toys.  She also adores play tunnels.  She needs a family who will give her lots of playtime and the chance to finally be a kitten, because this young mama was having babies of her own while she was still a baby herself.   Please see our rescue information for our adoption fees or email us at billythekiddenrescue@gmail.com. ‼️Help control the pet population - have your pets spayed or neutered! 💯
