My story

Hyde is a boy who has nothing to hide! The only problem is his adopter seems to be hiding from him....could it be you? Please check this sweet boy out! There are a few ways to Hyde's heart: cuddles, snackies, and the best butt scratches! He is hoping to go to a home where he can get all of those things in exchange for a whole bunch of love. He was very easy for me to leash and walked well with minimal pulling. He is definitely still feeling sick as he was coughing pretty consistently the whole time we were out. Takes treats super gently! Very cuddly lil babe. He loved taking pets all over and was by my side the whole time in the play yard. Very affectionate! Didn't show much interest in toys that I saw. Walked by another dog and didn't react Per Staff 9/17/24: BEHAVIOR EVALUATION: KNOWN HISTORY: Stray KENNEL PRESENTATION: Hyde was on the backside of kennel sniffing around. When the handler called him he came darting across to the front and was wiggly. He did try to push his way out of kennel but allowed the handler to easily leash him still. LEASH SKILLS: Pull moderately HANDLING: In the yard Hyde was very energetic and playful. He darted around exploring and would come over and jump on us for attention. He was a bit jumpy and lacked manners, but was friendly with us. He was very food motivated and showed knowledge of sit, but was snatchy so use an open palm! He was tolerant for all handling while remaining loose and friendly. PLAY Engaged in play, jumpy, as not mouthy though. TOYS: Interest but no possession Per Staff 9/16/24: Very friendly and hyper, allows handling. ACCT Philly is located at 111 West Hunting Park Ave in Philadelphia.
