Check out Violet's stay in foster on instagram: @dupontluckycats!! Name: Violet Best Guess for Breed: Domestic Short Hair Age: 3 years 9/14/24 - Estimated DOB 8/2/21 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 8 lb 2 oz 8/14 Coloring: Gray Tabby Type of Hair: Short Gets Along With: Because of her young age, Violet will likely get along with other cats, dogs and kids with an acclimation period. We’re happy to help with tips and tricks! Currently Living at: Foster in the DC area! I am Looking For: My loving forever family! Hi! I'm Violet, and I am a cute little kitten! I won’t ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be my kitten self. What the Shelter Says About Me: This is no shrinking Violet!!! Violet likes to get all the scoop of the comings and goings in our Cat Room. She may be our Staff Reporter and needs to get the most up to date stories to keep everyone informed. Violet is always polite in her interviews, but likes to get right in front of her person to show them how lovely she is in case there might be a more lucrative job opportunity! Violet’s expression always says “What can you tell me?' And she is always interested in what you have to say! What My Foster Says About Me: Violet seems to be a very devoted, super sweet cat! She was a little nervous initially and is easily startled by loud notices (how dare I sneeze!), but with some coaxing, she seems to be setting in very well 24 hours in and very eager for attention. She’s a master biscuit maker and very demanding of pets and scritches, wanting to lean in hard for pets wherever my hands are. She’s chirpy and responds to you talking to her, in a really cute way. She's very gentle and seems to generally want to be around me aside from napping in a safe place on occasion. Check Violet out in foster on IG @dupontluckycats!
