My story

Who am I? I'M BATMANOK so recent Batman media makes him out to be a mean and cold superhero, but remember the good old days when Adam West was a sweet and nurturing Batman? Well, that's this Batman! He is such a lovely guy!Batman was rescued by our local trapper and has been with us for a short while. He has quickly won us over with his amazing personality and would love to get to know you! Batman is FIV+ but don't hold that against him. It's a common virus in cats that spent some time outdoors - it can only be transmitted through deep bites/wounds and does not transfer to humans. You can read more about it here: fivcats.comBatman also has a sensitive tummy so he qualifies for our special needs rate. He is currently on a novel protein diet which is a little more expensive than your regular grocery store brand food, and he takes a probiotic in his food to keep him tummy happy. He's such a sweetheart we believe he is worth the extra effort! We would gladly give some of this food and probiotic to get you started.Batman is believed to be around 5 years old. He has been neutered, is up to date on his vaccinations, tests positive for FIV but negative for FELV. All he needs is his friendly family, whether that's Robin or Superman is up to you. Please apply at https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=meridenhumanesociety&method=online_form_html&formid=28

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Batman, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
