My story

Animal Profile: Galileo is an estimated 18 month old 65lb Beaceron mix. He was a stray intake and assessed at the Stanislaus shelter to be playful and goofy with people and dogs. He has a neat little corncob trick that is pretty adorable. He was scheduled for euthanasia on Sat 9/21 due to overcrowding but we pulled him at the 11th hour and he'll be arriving to Seattle area foster care. We'll share more as we get to know him.  Foster Update: Galileo is SO friendly! He immediately took to my 13 year old son and our 6.5 year old lab. He is very energetic, but also content cuddling with his head on your lap or nuzzled into your leg once he's worn himself out. He loves to meet new people and enjoys meeting new dogs. Galileo is an energetic pup and will benefit from confident handler on leash as he is quite strong and will pull when excited to see a dog or small critter. He is crate and potty trained. Galileo is such a smart guy; he’s learned sit and stay and is working on new commands each day. Galileo is amazing in the car and would love an active family who he can join on PNW adventures! Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current core vaccinations per AVMA standards, negative heartworm test and microchip with lifetime registration. Adoption fees benefit all the animals in our rescue, and may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 non-profit organization.
