My story

How sad it is that we have a puppy picture of this wonderful old boy from way back in 2012 and unfortunately, he's right back in a shelter? Caesar was adopted as a puppy from our Newark shelter and sadly, was found a few years later in his home when the owner moved out. Good news is that Caesar got himself a great home after that in 2016 where he's been ever since! Bad news is, his owner could no longer care for him due to falling on some hard times. Caesar is just the greatest senior boy though! He's 12 years old and it's obvious he was loved in this last home. He's so well-behaved, friendly, and he loves people of all ages. Caesar is hearing-impaired but he knows hand gestures for sit, stay, etc. He walks great on a leash, he's housebroken, he's gentle with taking treats, and he's still playful and spunky!
