Lily Tiger is described by her foster mom as “a dog cat” because she is so social, playful, funny, easygoing, and the most chill cat you’ll ever meet. Any family would be SO lucky to have her. Lily loves sitting in your lap and napping with you. This kitty gets attached to her humans so she's also going to follow you all around the house to be with you. She will sit and watch TV with you (her foster mom says that she has a preference for Modern Family ;) ) When she isn’t napping, she spends her day seeking out attention so that she can get cuddles and play. Her naps are often on the couch or next to the window. At night she loves sleeping in the bottom corner of her foster mom’s bed, next to her feet. When her foster mom is cooking, she likes sitting on top of the fridge to watch, and will sit with her when she works. Lily loves pets so it is easy for her to adapt to new people. Lily believes everything is a toy for her and she goes crazy for toys she has to catch; her foster mom has offered to give the person all the toys that Lily loves when she is adopted. Lily does not appreciate being alone so we hope to place her in a forever home with humans who are around for her. Lily doesn’t do well with loud noises so we’re looking for her to go to a calm and peaceful home. We would love to place her in a home with our other cat, Duffi who would be a great companion for her. In general, if you decide to adopt Lily, don’t think twice, she is an amazing company and any family would be so lucky to have her. She is going to bring pure joy to your home. If you would like to meet and possibly adopt this amazing feline, please email info@chicagocatrescue.org or call 773/203-0215. No texts, please. CCR adopts to forever homes in Chicago or the very near suburbs that are within 10 miles of our Chicago foster families. We love our cats and we pledge support for the rest of their lives, which is why our location limits are in place. We appreciate your understanding. If you are outside of these limits, please check petfinder.com, which allows searching by zip code, for cats closer to your home. At Chicago Cat Rescue, we are dedicated to both the physical and emotional well-being of the cats and kittens in our care. For this reason, unless expressly stated, we do not place cats or kittens in homes where they will be the only cat. Generally, cats love the company of other cats, and can become quite lonely when living alone. Kittens will only be placed in pairs, or to join another kitten or young cat in your home. Chicago Cat Rescue is an entirely foster-based organization. Our ability to help more cats in need is dependent on our availability of foster homes. If you think you could provide a loving foster situation for a cat in need, or would like to learn more about our foster program, please email us, info@chicagocatrescue.org. Thank you!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Tiger Lily, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
