My story

Adoption fee waived!! There are 5 girls and 5 boys. We don't know the breed or even if they are all from the same litter and/or have the same dad, but we expect they'll end up medium/large once fully grown. They do not all have apparent skin lesions, so it doesn't look like the mange impacted them all, but they have all been treated and are no longer contagious. They are a little skittish on the ground, but also extremely loving and their favorite place to be was cuddled up in our volunteers arms. We did our best to take decent pics despite the rain, to include skin lesions for the ones who have them (treatment is ongoing and all indications are that the fur will fully grow back over time). If you are interested in adopting, feel free to go to Guntersville Animal Hospital & Surgery Center, 1609 Henry St, Guntersville, AL. Hours are Mon-Fri 7:30am-5:30pm and Sat 7:30am-noon. No appointments necessary. If you have additional questions regarding mange, you can also call them at 256-582-3184 during those same hours. PLEASE SHARE TO HELP THESE SWEET PUPS!!!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Boy 1, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
