My story

Carrot came to us with a big fear of humans. It didn't take him long to warm up to one of our caregivers which extended to everyone around him. He does start out a little cautious, but within seconds, he melts into your touch.All cats adopted through our shelter are vaccinated, combo tested (negative unless otherwise noted), microchipped and spayed/neutered before going to their new home. Please only apply for a specific kitten if you are committed to adopting! We make no breed guarantees, we are a rescue, not a breeder. Our workers are all volunteers and it takes time to process applications. We serve an area within (around) a 2.5 hour radius of DFW but will consider adoptions outside of that range and do have the ability to fly animals to adopters at an additional fee. Adoptions are finalized upon home visit at the time of placement.
