My story

My foster writes:What do you get when you cross a circus performer, distinguished gentleman, and little rascal in one cat? You get Chooky! Chooky is a super handsome tuxedo boy that loves people, playtime, and sitting in loaf form on your chest or lap. He is very quiet, except for his purring, occasional snores, and running around the apartment on the lookout for toys. When he's not with his people, Chooky likes to sit in his cat tree and watch birds outside the window. He is very clean with his litterbox and loves Churus an absurd amount. Chooky does well alone in his foster home, but he would much rather hang out with or near you if the choice is up to him. Despite notes to the contrary, Chooky has not shown any issues being picked up or meeting strangers, and he is a very curious boy. He'll do best in a home that can handle (and might even appreciate) some occasional cat-titude, and where he has lots of time to play with his humans. Chooky is an amazing cat full of energy ready to entertain his forever home with his jumps, somersaults, and bunny kicks! Come see what the fuss is all about and meet Chooky today! My other foster writes: Chooky is a loving little firecracker with the heart of a lion and a full time job at the biscuit making factory. Never doing anything halfway, Chooky is an energetic guy who loves playing, food, and cuddling. Even though he didn't like the shelter very much, Chooky warmed up to his foster home right away and greets strangers like they're his new best friends. It's clear he's ready to be right back where he belongs in his furever family. His ideal home? Full of wand toys, catnip, and laps to sit in!A volunteer writes: Chooky's the type who would thoroughly enjoy managing the logistics around errands. He acts like everything is fun, totally exciting, and the best reason ever to wake up and greet the day. Each time I've opened Chooky's condo door, he's come forward in a burst of joy to join me in whatever it was I had to do. Dinner time? This is excellent! Fluffing up blankets? Well, there he is looking on with astonishment because it's his favorite and he knows how to help. Chooky seems to want to be in the middle, thereby making whatever the activity is entirely secondary because he is distractingly cute. Pushing his head into my hand like the world's most adorable bulldozer, Chooky settled into pets when I explained the cleaning was done and thought we could maybe just hang out, he treated it with equal excitement. Chooky was brought to us because his person passed away and is hoping to find a new start with a family who loves as fully as he does! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 16.8 Age: 5yrs 10mths 1wks
