My story

Meet Gully, the guy with the biggest smile! Gully has been with us for a while, and we’re working hard to help him find his forever home! He’s part of a special team of handlers who are helping him become the perfect gentleman by teaching him basic obedience and improving how he presents himself in the kennel. We believe Gully has been overlooked because when people walk up to his kennel, he tends to bark with excitement and eagerness—but he’s been making great progress! We’re working with him to sit calmly when someone approaches, and he has made excellent progress! His training team has noticed that certain sounds overstimulate Gully, and we’ve worked hard to identify those so that we can share with his furever family. At his core, Gully is a great dog—a friendly, trainable, and happy boy who just needs someone to give him a chance. We have found he is eager to please, and treat motivated. If you're looking for a loyal companion, Gully is more than ready to meet you! This dog is eligible for up to three in-home training sessions after adoption! These sessions are led by someone familiar with the dog’s training, personality, and needs. They’re a great way to ease the transition, answer questions, and help everyone start off on the right paw.
