My story

Meet Toto! A 60 pound boy that LOVES being the center of attention. Toto's never met a stranger. He would do fine as an only dog, but he also enjoys playing with other dogs. Toto plays best with dogs of similar size and he does require a fenced in backyard. A home without cats would be best for him since he thinks they are fun to pester. Toto is an adventurous boy that's always looking for the next fun activity. Some of his favorites include walks, car rides, boat rides, trips to home depot, walks on the beach and the list goes on :-) His indoor favorites include stuffed squeaky toys, chew bones and cuddle time on the couch. Toto is crate trained, potty trained and food motivated which makes it easy for him to learn new things! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
